It is so easy to ignore what is deep inside us that needs healing or an opportunity to be seen, when everything outward is bright and sunny. I know the most important lessons I've learned in life would not have come forward if a hard lesson had not appeared and eclipsed the outward. This allowed me to sit quietly and let the inward to be seen and heard. I love thinking about how the eclipse does the same. If it causes animals to quieten and sleep, it also can have the same effect on me.
