Shravana
I honor the wisdom I receive by listening deeply to both the world and my own inner knowing.
There’s a quietness here. Not silence…but listening. The kind that happens when you become still enough to hear what has always been speaking beneath the noise.
This is the energy of sacred listening. Of learning not just through speaking or doing…but through receiving. Through hearing what is said…and what is not.
Shravana carries the rhythm of deep perception through sound, story, and wisdom. It listens for meaning. For pattern. For truth that echoes beneath the surface.
When the Moon lives here at birth, there is often a profound relationship with learning. A desire to understand. To gather wisdom. To listen closely enough that something real can be integrated.
And within that…a karmic rhythm around external guidance and inner knowing.
Because when wisdom is deeply valued, there can sometimes be a tendency to keep listening outward. To seek the next teaching. The next answer. The next voice that might clarify the path.
Sometimes forgetting…that your own inner listening is also sacred.
Sometimes this can feel like a deep curiosity and love of learning, a heightened sensitivity to words, tone, or teachings, seeking wisdom from mentors, systems, or external sources, or difficulty trusting what you already hear within yourself.
And yet…this is not dependence. It is receptivity.
Shravana teaches that listening is powerful…when it becomes discernment. When what you hear from the world meets what you already know inside. When knowledge becomes wisdom through embodiment.
There is something deeply ancient here. A keeper of stories. A student of truth.
The path is not to stop listening but to include yourself among the voices worth hearing.
Practice
Today, notice what you are listening to.
Advice.
Noise.
Expectations.
Your own thoughts.
Pause.
Take one quiet moment and ask: What is my inner voice saying beneath all of this?
Listen… without rushing to doubt it.
Anchor
I honor the wisdom I receive by listening deeply to both the world and my own inner knowing.
If you sit with this…what becomes clearer when listening is no longer only outward…but inward too?
