Today the Moon transits Rohini, fully in Taurus.
Rohini is the fourth nakshatra of the Zodiac and is represented by the symbol of the ox cart, bringing the harvest to market. This is pointing to the growing nature of Rohini. This is the fast growing of the child, the Brahma principle of creation and growing.
Rohini is ruled by the Moon and considered the Moon’s favorite “wife.” Rohini tends to be beautiful by cultural standards, is known as the rosy one, or “she who wears rose-colored glasses,” which may speak to a certain type of innocence or naiveté.
Rohini is often interested in creating the most beautiful Earth. They can be artists, growers of gardens and anything of beauty. Their eyes are pointed toward heaven which increases this idea of growth, of reaching for the stars.
When Moon transits Rohini, like it is doing today, you might find you tuning into that more positive energy of the heavens, or of growing up in some way, on your way to autonomy.
A few years ago I chose songs for each of the nakshatras based on how I was feeling them during that time. Here is what I picked for Rohini and I think I’d choose it again, but this is one nakshatra I’m still searching for the perfect song:
Would love to hear if this resonated for you, and how.
Yep this is me…still growing
