Have you ever felt eclipsed?
Eclipses happen several times a year so it really isn’t that big of a deal…until it is. Depending on where the eclipse is happening and what that means for you based on your natal chart (houses, planets, transits) will determine if this is a big deal for you and what is being eclipsed.
I knew last year that I was being “undone” by eclipses. Mystical, mysterious and serendipitous happenings were unfolding during the eclipses. It started me on a journey to study them and my intention was to share some workshops for us to all self-study what it means for us.
However, that didn’t happen. (I will work with you 1:1, however.)
I’m still unfolding all of it, the meaning, what is being asked of me on that higher octave. But I did want to pipe in here and say that I haven’t completed disappeared. This eclipse is happening in my first house of Pisces. Our first house is how we are self aware and how we operate in the world. It is the most true thing about how we are to share uniquely and be of service. And this is where the eclipse is happening.
In fact, the last time the Sun was in Revati nakshatra at the time of an eclipse was 1932. I looked it up. Manually. So yeah. I’m quiet. What I have to say isn’t flowing right now as this eclipse is forcing me deeper inside.
Once thing I’ve learned is that we get “eclipsed” so that we can see what is underneath. What karmic patterns are unwinding? What is our soul trying to get us to see? Do? Feel? Serve?
This weekend is the New Moon that is the new moon before the Solar Eclipse on April 8th. We are now in the cycle of the eclipses (technically the waxing period of this Solar Eclipse started January 11th new moon, which is about when I went silent. And we will be under the waning effect of this eclipse through July, which at that point we sill start the waxing to the eclipse in Virgo. Just like the Moon has cycles that wax and wane, so does the eclipse.
As you can see, I’m taking this cycle to heart, diving in, doing the things that I’ve been unwilling to do (I’m in an entrepreneur mentorship). I’m looking at my blind spots and where I’m unwilling to be seen.
Are you noticing anything in your sphere? If so, share in the comments.
For now, if you want to start this last waxing month to the eclipse with something special, I invite you to join me this Friday or Saturday for a special Cacao Ceremony and Sacred Sound Journey with my friend, Jack Howard.
Jack has been blessing us with his presence and gifts for almost a year now when he travels through to Huntington. It is one of the most special times for us to be together in sacred community.
Here are some words from others:
Thank you so much for providing the container for this event. Jack was a phenomenal practitioner. After having arrived with low energy, I felt calm and centered at the completion of our time together. For which I am grateful.
I thoroughly enjoyed Jack’s cacao ceremony. He created a quiet, peaceful environment, taught us about the "how tos" and benefits of ritual and then guided us to experience the healing benefits of it.
I loved the cacao ritual and sound journey at the Sanctuary! The altars set up for this ceremony (one of vessels for serving and drinking cacao, another for musical instruments) as well as the participants (so open-hearted) enhanced the encounter. I still carry this experience with me as I learn more about cacao and incorporate its use in my personal practice. I am enjoying the benefits of cacao, especially the reduction in inflammation!
And finally, a track shared in our phenomenal Tuesday class that the rest of you may resonate with:
And, I’d love to read what the eclipse means for you. If you are interested, sign up here.
