Next Wednesday, November 23rd at 5:57pm ET, Moon will find its new start in the sign of Scorpio, Anuradha nakshatra.
Where this past full moon, we had four planets in diplomatic Libra, today those planets have moved into Scorpio, Sun is no longer debilitated and can shine a light on our hidden fears. This new moon will include combust Venus, combust Mercury, debilitated and dark (combust) Moon and bright Sun all within very close degree to each other.
This is the great outer inhale, retraction inward, in opposition to the great outer exhale, expansion.
Anuradha is the star of devotion and success. Success through falling in love with something that is more than just of earthly realm, but something beyond and higher in sight and our love becomes stronger and everlasting. This true love can only be found by going inward and the dark moment here supports that.
Mitra, the deity of friendship, is a ruler of Anuradha. The friend that never leaves, our deepest companion and with us up to our last moment is our breath. Follow your friend, your breath all the way in…to the cave of the cave in your heart and there you will find this flame worthy of utter devotion.
To understand Anuradha, we can also look at the counterforce/opposite/mirror star that is in direct relationship to Anuradha and that is Rohini, the creative and “growing” star, also the most beautiful one. This creative force compels us to love fiercely and “bigger than.” (Note: this will be the FULL Moon in December.) But for now, Mars in Retrograde is close to Rohini which will make for a particularly emotional dark/new moon in Scorpio.
This seed being planted will have such fertile grounds over the 15 days between the new and full moon, when it can really start growing in Rohini. And begin to bear fruit in 2023.
How is this for you? Consider what house is Scorpio in your chart and also Taurus. For me it is the 9th and 3rd axis - highest dharma and courage and willpower. A seed is planted and through nurture, it will grow and flourish (theoretically, ask me in a year).
I’d love to hear how this looks in your chart.
I’ll be back with more on this cycle but in the meantime, here is a tune that I pick and feel matches the vibe of Anuradha.
PS…want to learn about the houses? We start in January on the 4th Friday.
PSS...Due to a lot of asks, I’m considering a Radical Self Care mini-series through the holidays. If that speaks to you, message me and ask me more…
