Right timing catches a lot of attention, especially when we understand it is all right timing for something. Now we are interested in being more intentional and co-participating with the choices we are making.
Instead of being run by the physical aspect of “doing,” I offer up that we are moving into the more casual aspect of authentic desire manifesting consciously… consciousness expanding.
And in-between is the subtle realm where we have to clean up our house (iykyk).
One of my readers and participants in my classes asked me about aligning to start a new habit and about the lunar cycles (full moon vs. dark moon). They are feeling ready to start stepping into a new way of being but those habits are strongly entrenched when you get to our age (50s and beyond). What to do?
There are a lot of things to offer here:
1st… they aren’t looking necessarily at “mind of matter” approach although they can use their mind to assist this process. Most of us now realize that approach by itself is half-baked at best and short lived. We will still bring it on board, however.
Another thing to consider is what kind of astrological cycle are you in. This person just entered a new cycle last fall that lasts 19 years and it is a cycle that is bound to pay off for them. This is GREAT timing and I feel they will have tons of support from this cycle.
On the flip side, I’m one year into a 7 year cycle that wants me to do this type of thing, but karmically it provides so many roadblocks and doubts for me. Does that mean I just give up? NO. I recognize that it will be more of a struggle for me and that as I’m doing this, I’m clearing karma from past lives. No one said this was easy.
So, we make the best of what we have.
Set intentions.
Do our best.
Surrender the outcome (because whose to say you aren’t getting exactly what is needed at this time in your life).
So, here we go.
The dark/new moon is when we will work on verbalizing in writing and sound exactly what we want. We want to have the right intention. The dark moon is in one week from today.
Use this week just to evaluate your readiness. I call this Point A:
Look at past failures with compassion - what did you learn?
Look at the reality of your lifestyle - write down your known obstacles and journal about them.
Imagine what your life would be like if you were to “fix” this thing that bothers you, this habit that isn’t serving you.
Spend compassionate time reflecting.
Next later this week we will talk more on creating a sankalpa. But for now, you need to work on Point A: Where Am I?
Some astrological support for the lunar cycle coming: The new/dark moon is an exalted moon in the sign of Taurus, an earth sign, with Rohini. Rohini means: She who creates. She who wears rose-colored classes. The growing. The shakti/power of Rohini is the power to procreate and make something grow! (And enjoy it.)
What a perfect time to create a new habit, in a supported and pleasurable way.
Next week, I’ll share about the Full Moon and Shakti of manifesting. But let’s take this in bites.
I’d love to hear (and I’m sure it would be supportive of the community as well) to hear about your Point A in the comments. I’ll respond accordingly.
Love, love, love this. Simple steps but so powerful!
