Wow. My energy feels balanced, vibrant and I can feel my mojo returning. Hello, lost friend. I’m glad you are back!
Mojo is my word for February.
How about you? Maybe it is just me but that vertigo and some other things threw me for a loop. You know, it is no one’s fault. The way of our culture is to blame this or that… I find these things are just shifting of the winds to slow me down or speed me up toward the next thing, but all in this moment, remembering to savor life. The more I can be in the flow of what is, the better.
A Full Moon is almost here.
Coming up Sunday (but also Saturday you can feel the vibes), the moon is full in Cancer Ashlesha! This is the strongest placement in the zodiac for the moon and it will be extra-extra as it is full and vibrant. And very sensitive. Ashlesha is the shakti of the deep feels and sensitivity. Some call it serpent energy. Some call it by other names.
Ashlesha has the uniqueness of delivering us so much sensitivity that we feel like we don’t have skin, we can feel other’s energy and mistake it for our own. Really, it is teaching us to attune to our inner compass, take heed, and act. But if you instead project on others, you will suffer, they won’t be happy and chaos ensues.
The counterpart to this full moon is the sun in Shravana, the listening star. Shravana will empower you to truly hear what is being said…hearing before hearing (knowing before knowing).
Use Ashlesha energy to turn inward and use Shravana to access your deep wisdom. Capitalize on this energy. This is an opportune time for intense transformation.
For those that like to follow along, we have some pretty inspiring times coming ahead in February and March.
Feb 15 Venus enters Pisces
Feb 24 Jupiter enters Pisces Revati
Mar 1 Venus enters Pisces Revati and on the 3rd Venus and Jupiter are exact degrees. Venus is exalted in Pisces and Jupiter is in his own home. This is a time of ripe inner growth that leads to outer manifestations.
Mar 12 Venus enters Aries
Apr 20 Total Solar Eclipse
Apr 23 Jupiter enters Aries for a new 12-year cycle of growth and inspiration
Apr 23 is one of the most auspicious days, Akshaya Tritya when both the Sun and Moon are exalted in Aries and Taurus. Also Jupiter, Rahu and Mercury R are in Aries. Venus is with Moon in Rohini. I’m sure I’ll have more to say later.
Now might be a good time to revisit your chart to see what is coming up for you in the year ahead.
Or you may want to attune to the Full Moon in a Restorative Yoga class focused on Resources tomorrow at 10am (Saturday).
Stay vibrant and shining and I’ll talk more next week on enjoyment and relationships, known as Kama of the Four Vedic Aims of life.
