3 days until the New/Dark Moon. It’s starting to feel shadowy already. Remember that New Moon is with Shatabishak - the 100 healers or she who heals in 100 ways… we need it. Ukraine needs it.

Friday, in the comments, I had some interesting questions posed so I’ll do a little Q&A for those interested.

Prayer (Does Prayer fit into the process and if so, how?):
I’m not sure what process is being referred to here so I’m going to assume the practice of yoga/meditation. I only speak from my experience mostly. I’ve never considered myself an especially prayerful person, although in my darkest hour on the bathroom floor, I’ve asked…and received. I’m unchurched, as many of you know. It is not the language I know. From what I’ve heard, if I took out the ‘asking for’ and ‘expecting something’ from what I hear as prayer, I suspect prayer and meditation are the same. I spend quite a bit of time in what I would call this inner communion. You might call it prayer. I think it is a good practice and recommend it.

The how? I’d say with reverence and sincerity and from that neutral, curious place, not from the place that wants an outcome. I think I’d have a lot more to offer on this, such as words and chanting but I’m ending here for now. I can always elaborate, if needed.
